Federal employees play a key role in implementing the ISE Privacy Guidelines in two ways:
- First, federal employees may be tasked with identifying and assessing information sharing arrangements to determine whether terrorism-related information is being shared within these arrangements.
- Second, federal employees may be asked to help ensure that ISE privacy protection policies are successfully implemented, thereby providing protections for information privacy and other legal rights in the sharing of terrorism-related information.
